FLOYD D. ROBERTSON

Floyd D. Robertson was born March 21, 1885 in Lexington, Indiana, the son of Alexander and Amanda Jennings Robertson and the great great grandson of Nathan Robertson who was one of the very first settlers in the Indiana Territory.

He attended Scott County schools and after graduation he prepared for the profession of teaching and taught for over ten years. He married Myrtle Cortner and they had two children--Dorothy and Wilmer.

In later years he served a four year term as Scott County Auditor and was the rural mail carrier for several years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Kimberlin Baptist Church.

On October 3, 1946 he died.
