Lexington, a post-village of Scott county, Indiana, in Lexington Township on the Louisville Branch of the Ohio and Mississippi Railroad, 29 miles N. by E. of Louisville, Ky., and about 18 miles W.S.W. of Madison. It has an academy, 3 churches, a woolen-factory, a planing mill, & c. Population 440; of the township, 2529.
