WILLIAM ESTIL

William Estil, born on August 11, 1811 and a native of Fleming County, Kentucky came to Lexington with his father in the Spring of 1813. He married in 1832 and began farming. In 1871 he and H. K. Wardell laid out the town of Scottsburg.
