Descendants of Urias Hollenbeck and Eunice Gay


Urias HOLLENBECK (Dirk HOLLENBECK, Michael HOLLENBECK, Willem Jansz CASPERSEN, Jan CASPERSE, Kaspar JACOBSZ) was born July 1, 1778 at Egremont, Berkshire County, Massachusetts. He was the 10th child of Derick HOLLENBECK and Mary Spoor. Urias married Eunice Gay on July 1, 1799 at Amenia, Dutchess County, New York.

Urias and his family left Egremont, Massachusetts early in 1817 and moved to the Wyoming Valley of Pennsylvania, settling in Mehoopany Creek. Urias died May 25, 1845 at the age of 69 at Washington, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania.

Eunice Gay was born March 6, 1783 at Sharon, Litchfield County, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Lt. Col. Ebenezer GAY and Elizabeth Fairbanks. Eunice died July 16, 1856 at the age of 73 at Washington, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania.
