Lexington - The Movie - Part 2
A second DVD video about Lexington has been created from old home movies, videos, and photographs from various sources. It runs for approximately 55 minutes and has footage of literally hundreds of people who lived in and around Lexington during the 1900-1970 time frame. I'm sure that you will cherish this video if you or your family lived in Lexington during that time period. Additional footage from 16 mm movies taken by Dale Renschler, including a Scottish Rites (or Masons) banquet held in Scottsburg in about 1964. It shows numerous people including Tom Miller, Mr. & Mrs. Lowell Whitlatch, Mr. & Mrs. Everrett Marshall, Willard B. Hough, Bonnie Renschler Clapp, Lester Walker, Ronnie & Marie Renschler, Sandra Boley, Cheryl Blacklock, Marsha Whitlatch, and many others that I could not identify. A second segment shows the Clapp store and family in Nabb about 1951. It includes Paul & Laura Clapp, Connie Clapp, Melvin Clapp, Buddy & Bonnie Clapp, Ervin & Pearl Lowry, and a few others that I have not identified.
In 1997 Earl Milles was featured on a WFYI-TV program called "Across Indiana. In the video, 96 year old Earl and his 91 year old customer, Lawrence Sever, reminisce about Lexington and Earl's 75+ years of barbering in Lexington.
A 1933 sound recording by actor, Clifton Webb who's grandfather was born in Lexington.
