Miss Dorothea Reagan and Richard D. Lovin Married
The Southport presbyterian Church was the scene yesterday for the marriage of Miss Dorothea L. Regan to Richard D. Lovin.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a candlelight satin gown. Chantilly lace outlined the marquisette yoke of the gown's fitted bodice. The bride's tiered veil fell from tiara of satin and lace covered with orange blossoms.
Miss Dorothy Mae Webb, maid of honor, wore a shell pink tafetta gown and carried a cascade of American Beauty roses. The bridesmaids, Miss Eleanor Reed, of Bourbon, and Miss Mary Lou Irwin, wore taffeta gowns blending shades of rose. They carried cascades of roses.
Carolyn Fewell, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.
Charles Wallace, Attica, was best man and ushers were William Schmalfeldt and Donald Mickesell, Richmond.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. O W. Reagan, 1526 Gilbert Street, and Mr. and Mrs. David Beetley, Richmond.
Lovely Sunday Rites Unite

In a lovely ceremony yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock in the Southport Presbyterian Church, Miss Dorothea L. Reagan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orlin Webster Reagan of Bloomington and Indianapolis, became the bride of Richard D. Lovin of Richmond, Indiana.
The bride's grandfather, the Rev. Charles A. Reagan of Wichita, Kansas, officiated with the double ring rites. He was assisted by the pastor of the Southport Church, the Rev. Clyde York.
Mr. and Mrs. David Beetley of Richmond are the bridegroom's parents.
The lovely bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a gown of candlelight satin and Chantilly lace. Her illusion veil showered from a satin and lace tiara adorned with orange blossoms. She also carried a white orchid on a prayer book.
Attending the bride was Miss Dorothy Mae Webb, maid of honor, who was gowned in a seashell pink tissue taffeta gown with matching mitts. She carried a cascade of American Beauty roses and wore matching ones in her hair. The bridesmaids, Miss Eleanor Reed of Bourbon and Miss Mary Lou Irwin wore dresses of American Beauty and dusty rose tissue taffeta. Miss Reed carried pink roses and Miss Irwin carried a cascade of American beauty and pink roses.
Scattering rose petals in the path of the bride was little Carolyn Fewell, cousin of the bride, who wore a frock of pink tissue taffeta.
Charles Wallace of Attica was the best man and William Schmalfeldt and Donald Mickesell of Indianapolis and Richmond respectively served as ushers.
The bride's mother was attractively gowned in a light blue crepe dress with navy accessories. Mrs. Beetley chose to wear a silk print ensemble with black accessories. Each had corsages formed of roses and gardenias.
After the wedding ceremony, the bride and groom were feted during a reception held in the church parlors. Approximately 200 guests gathered to honor the newly-weds. The couple then left for a wedding trip to Turkey Run State Park.
For her wedding trip, Mrs. Lovin had selected a three piece brown checked suit complemented with brown accessories. She wore a white orchid, taken from the bridal bouquet.
Mrs. Lovin attended Jordan College of Music and is a member of Mu Phi Epsilon Sorority. Mrs. Lovin will be graduated from Jordan this coming June and is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
The bride's father is a well known pharmacist and is employed at Stoute's Pharmacy in Bloomington. The Bloomington residence of the Reagans is located on South College Avenue.
