This photograph was provided by Robert
Middleton. It belonged to his great great grandmother Victoria
Marcella Kempton Middleton. It was identified by her as Dr. H.H.
Parkhill. The 1860 Census indicates he was 27 years old, from Pennsylvania,
and a druggist. He was apparently a bachelor at the time; he was at the same
address as several Harlans and a Henry Paswater.
